I was getting my nails done yesterday and the lady sitting next to me getting her nails done turned to me and said “Donna, is that you?”
Long story short, she married a man I matched her with 23 years ago and they have been happily married for 22 years. She could not say enough nice things about him and how much they still love each other. She said he is supportive, kind, loving and the best thing that has ever happened to her.
She said “I remember when you first talked to me about Ron and you said his income level was a little lower than what we had agreed would be most compatible with me but I told you I wanted to meet him anyways.”
Later I was reflecting on the conversation and thinking if she had said “no” because of his income she would not have been sitting there 23 years later still in love with the man she said is “the best thing that ever happened to her.”
It made me smile.

Today I was talking with a lady who is a fairly new client and I have matched her four times.
She said “Donna, I meditate every morning about what I am grateful for in my life and now you are always included in those thoughts.”
It made me smile.

Yesterday I booked a lady for an appointment and I asked her where she heard about my service.
She said “I have seen and heard your ads for years but I was talking with a coworker about how I would like to be married and have a family and he said he met his wife through you.”
I said “What is his name?”
She told me his name and said “But he said you probably won’t remember him because he married the first and only lady you introduced to him and they never called to tell you they got married.”
I said “Usually one or the other will call be when they get married but right now the important thing is that he inspired you to call me.”
It made me smile.

I had feedback from a couple today who just met for the first time and it was the second match for both of them.
She said “I loved his height and I think he is very attractive (she is 5’10 and he is 6’2)! We have a lot, a lot in common. He is very easy to talk to, the conversation flowed easily and the meeting went great.’
He said “I really liked her, no doubt about it. I think she is very attractive. We spent about an hour and a half together and I would absolutely like to see her again.”
It made me smile.

Christmas is just a week away and I am still doing interviews. Normally by this time people are settling in for the holidays and will wait until after the first of the year, but not this year.
I am going to be in town this year so I am going to keep interviewing as long as people want to keep coming in.
It makes me smile!!!!

Happy Holidays!
