Last week was a busy week at Perfectly Matched and I am excited about my five new clients.

1) A man, late 40’s. divorced, self employed, educated and his long term goal is marriage and children.

He said “I have always wanted children and I still do. I know some people would say I am too old but I am young for my age. I am fit, healthy, active, longevity runs in my family and I have such a strong desire to be a father. A friend recently told me it would be a miracle if I had a child and I told her I believe in miracles.”

He enjoys hiking, travel at home and abroad, hot springs, museums, movies, festivals, and spending time with family and friends.

His age preference for a lady is 35 to 42, his height preference is 5’2 to 5’8 and he is fine with someone who has children as long as they are open to having another child.

2) A lady, mid 30’s, ABS (always been single), highly educated, her long term goal is marriage and children.

She said “I spent several years in a long distance relationship believing we would marry and start a family. I ended that relationship because I realized it was never going to happen. I am ready to move on and meet a man who also wants to be married and have a family.”

She enjoys running, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, concert, theater and traveling. She has also parasailed, done zip lining and hang gliding.

Her age preference is 32-46, her height preference is 5’5 or taller and she is open to someone who has children as long as he wants more children.

I don’t usually match a new client with a new client but she has agreed she would like to meet the man I interviewed just before her. They have very compatible scores, they both want to be married and have a family and they have a number of shared interests and activities.
He is a couple of years older than her preference but she agrees with me that age is the least important thing if everything else falls into place.
Many years ago I matched a couple who interviewed with me back to back. They never met anyone else and ended up married. Maybe it is time for history to repeat itself!

3) A lady, mid 40’s, divorced, a teacher, educated and her long term goal is marriage.

She said “I have been married once and I would love to be married again. I have been divorced for two years and I had a relationship that lasted a little over a year. Since that ended I have dated but I am not meeting men that have long term potential and I am tired of wasting time. I read some of your daily diaries and I can tell you work with more serious minded men than I am meeting online.”

She enjoys photography, drawing, painting, walking, movies, concerts, reading and traveling. She also plays at golf but there is definitely room for improvement. She is financially secure and would like to meet a men who has his ducks in a row financially.

Her age preference is 38 to 48, her height preference is 5’9 or taller. Although she does not have children, she welcomes a man who has children.

4) A man, late 50’s, widowed for many years, educated, retired, new to Colorado and his long term goal is marriage.”

I said “It is surprising to me that your long term goal is marriage because your scores reflect that you are nonconforming and you have not remarried in over 20 years.

He said “I moved around a lot in the military and after that, working for the government. It is hard to stay in a relationship when you move around. I am sure you hear this all the time but I have been to Colorado many times and always planned to retire here. I retired a year and a half ago, bought a
home and moved here three months ago. I am in a perfect place to find the right lady and live happily ever after in Colorado.”

He has traveled the world and he still has a desire to travel the world, especially with the right lady. He has a heart for volunteering and spends about 20 hours a week working with disabled veterans.

He also enjoys golfing, fly fishing, has a small camper and he is a huge music fan. He flew to England once to see his favorite band play together for the last time. He is into ancestry, history and Celtic festivals.

He has a great sense of humor and is loving life in Colorado. Now I get to help him find the right lady to share it all.

5) My last appointment is a “be back”, a lady I interviewed last March decided now is the right time to join Perfectly Matched. She is mid 40’s, educated, ABS (always been single) and her long term goal is marriage.

She said “Although I have never been married, I do have a grown daughter who lives out of state that I am very close to and she is a huge part of my life.”
She has also worked for the government and moved frequently but she bought a home and plans to stay in Colorado.

She enjoys running, hiking, golfing, working out, cooking, spectator sports, concerts and traveling. She has friends in Hawaii and Las Vegas that she visits often.

Her age preference is 42-55 and her height preference is 5’7 or taller. She is open to all races and prefers to meet men whose children are at least teenagers.

The interesting thing about all five of these new clients is all of them have the long term goal to be married. Maybe the trend is changing. For the last five years it seems marriage has not been the preferred option.
I am going to start taking a tally every time I interview someone as to whether or not they want to be married. I will keep you posted.

Labor Day is almost here, the kids are going back to school and the holidays will be here before you know it.
Now is the perfect time to call Perfectly Matched and let’s see how many matches I have for you!

To be continued……..
