January 28, 2014

My first appointment today is a “be back” a lady I interviewed in September, decided now was the right time to join Perfectly Matched. She is mid 40’s, divorced, highly educated, and her long term goal is marriage. She is new to Colorado Springs and looks at my service as a means to not only meet the right man, but to also make some new friends.

She enjoys working out, rock climbing, and horseback riding and belly dancing. She likes nice restaurants, good wine and would love to go to some concerts. She is a lifelong learner and will probably always be taking new classes that interest her. She is very excited to be in Colorado Springs and plans to stay here.
She said “My career has taken me all over the world but I want to make Colorado Springs my home.”

She is Catholic and would prefer to meet a Catholic man.
She said “I would like to meet a man who would pray with me and go to church with me.”

She is fit, has beautiful olive skin, gorgeous, flowing hair and looks like a Spanish model.
She is attracted to Caucasian, Latino and European men. Her age preference is ideally 44 to 49, height preference is 5’8 or taller, she has no children and she prefers to meet a man who either has no children, or children who are grown and on their own.

She said “The timing for doing this now is much better than is was last September. I am ready to start dating and, hopefully find a man I will marry and spent the rest of my life with.”

My second appointment is a lady, late 20’s, ABS (always been single) and her long term goal is marriage.

She said “I am not interested in having children. I have been in relationships where I told them that from the very beginning and I guess they think I will change my mind, but I don’t.”
I said “I won’t match you with men who want to have children. Will you meet men who already have children?”
She said “I prefer not to meet men who have kids.”
I said “Not wanting to have kids and not wanting to meet men who already have kids will be very limiting in your age range.”
She said “That is why I called you. I heard one of your commercials and you said once you meet with someone you know how many matches you have for them.”

After gathering all of her information, I have three possible matches for her.

She said “I am surprised you have even one but I also heard on your commercial you said it only takes one right one.”
I had to laugh. She obviously had listened to my commercial.

Long story short, I am going to give her two complimentary introductions and she is going to send me two referrals. She is so sweet and real about who she is and what she wants that I would like to have the opportunity to work with her.

One of the best things about owning my own business is I can do things like this when I am properly inspired. I also feel positive that one of the men I talked to her about could be a very good match for her and I want him to meet her. Matching him has also been limiting because he does not want to have children or meet a lady who already has children.
After all, it only takes one right one.

My third appointment is a young man who could not sign my contract if I would not guarantee him I would find him the right lady for him.

I said “No one can guarantee you they will find you the right lady. If they do, you should run as fast as you can.”
He said “I have no problem with what this cost. I just spent $2400 on a computer and it did not bother me at all because they gave me a guarantee.”
I said “Buying a computer and finding a wife are two very different things. I will use 25 years of matchmaking experience and look to match you with compatible, quality, serious minded ladies and there is no time frame no my service.”
He said “I need to think about it.”
I said “Ok.”
I will wait for his call.
