My first appointment today is a lady, late 40’s, widowed, two children, educated, and her long term goal is marriage. She spent three months trying one of the online services, canceled it three months early, and called me. She had many of the same complaints I often hear about online services; time consuming, ineffective, people aren’t honest, they don’t live here and they don’t look like their pictures.
She said “Don’t people realize they only have one chance to make a good first impression?” She was appalled at how some of the men showed up for their first meeting.

She has a fun, teasing sense of humor, appreciates a man who also has a sense of humor, and “gets” hers. She is also kind of “flirty” and has a fabulous smile. She is very easy going in her personal life, but not in her professional work environment. When I told her she has a very easy going temperament score, she laughed.
She said “Try telling that to the men I work with, and they would have a hard time believing it.” She works in a very male dominated field and is NOT easy going in her work environment.
I said “People can be very different in their work environment than they are in their personal lives.”

She is very fit and trim, and works out at the gym five times a week. She really enjoys kickboxing, which is something I hear more and more from ladies I interview. She also enjoys hiking, biking, plays golf, and likes to play one-on-one basketball. She is well traveled and has an interest to continue to travel.

She has girlfriends from grade school she meets up with every year and she thinks it is important that a man has friends in his life as well.

She said “I have great kids that I enjoy spending time with, a job I love, wonderful friends, a beautiful home, and good health. The only thing missing is the right man.”
Now I get to help her find him.

Donna’s Daily Diary was MIA last week because I had my 47th high school reunion in Colorado Springs. I graduated from high school In Lakenheath, England and this was our third reunion in Colorado Springs, the other two were 1994 and 1999. Our fathers were all in the military and the kids at Lakenheath came from all over England. My dad was actually stationed in Scotland. We lived in the dorms and, in my case I only went home for holidays and the summer. Whoever decides to take on the responsibility of organizing the reunion is where we have it. Our first one was 1985 in Chicago. We have also had them in Texas, Kentucky, Georgia, and Florida, to name a few. It is always great fun and just like turning the clock back to high school every time we meet.

It does not seem possible that Labor Day weekend is this weekend! Where did the summer go? The kids are back in school, summer vacations are ending, and business at Perfectly Matched typically picks up this time of year. Believe it or not, people are already thinking about the HOLIDAYS! They will be here before you know it…now is a perfect time to make your personal a priority and call for your complimentary one hour interview. Once I have your “scores” from the profile test, talk to you, and see you, I will know how many matches I have for you.

Call 260-1000 today. It could change your life, and as my new tagline says “LOVE HAPPENS HERE!!!

To be continued………
