My first appointment today is a man, late 50’s, divorced, grown children, educated, semi retired, his long term goal is a serious relationship, and he would consider living with someone, or maintaining separate residences.
He said “I have had a relationship with a lady I did live with, and I have had a relationship with a lady I could never live with, it depends on the lady.
I said “What was the difference between the two ladies?”
He said “One of them adored me, and the other one adored her two dogs, and talked to her dogs more than me.”
I said “Why didn’t it work out with the lady who adored you?”
He said “She moved out of state to be near her children and grandchildren when she retired. We tried to maintain a long distance relationship but ultimately we decided I was not going to move there, and she was going to stay there. We grew apart.”
I matched a good friend of his with a lady he has been with for over a year and he thinks they are a great match.
He said “Match me a lady like the one you found for my friend, and I will be a happy camper.”
His activities include golf, power walking, cooking, gardening, travel, theater, reading, spending time with his family and friends.
Surprisingly, his age preference is 50 to 60, and that is not written in stone.
He said “I will trust your judgment as far as age, but I have to be attracted to her.” He prefers short, petite, women and he loves long hair.
He said “So many ladies in this age range wear their hair really short, but I love to brush someone’s hair back over her shoulder.”
What a romantic….I have lots of matches for him!!
