My first Christmas card every year is from a couple, Keith and Nancy, who met through Perfectly Matched 18 years ago. At the time they were both divorced and had children and now they have 10 grandchildren between the two of them.
I really appreciate their Christmas card and the fact that they thank me every year!

Earlier this week I was out to dinner and a couple I matched came over to say hello and mentioned that they have now been married for almost 13 years. Marsha and Jay broke all my rules and got married three months after they met. Marsha has sent me more referral business than any client I have ever had and everywhere she goes she tells people how she met her handsome, charming husband.

Today, a man who married a lady I matched him with 16 years ago called to say he was in Colorado Springs visiting some friends and he saw my ad at the Ritz. He was telling his friends about how he met his wife and how initially he turned her down because he thought she would be too old, although she was the same age as him, 55. As it turns out, she was his first and only match and they have now been married for 15 years and live in Arizona.

Someday I would like to try to connect with the couples who married through Perfectly Matched and see how many of them are still married. Considering the divorce rate in El Paso County stays around 75%, I am guessing the percentage of people who met through Perfectly Matched and stay married has to be much to be much better than 25%. Nationally the only state that does better than 50%, as far as couples divorcing, is Utah. Perhaps that is one reason that for the first time since they have been keeping statistics, there are now more single people in the United States than married people.

During the holidays many of my previous clients call to let me know how they are doing and to wish me a Merry Christmas and I always look forward to hearing from them.

If you are single and looking to meet someone special call 260-1000 and let’s me how many matches I have for you. You can also get started by taking my Profile test on the homepage of my website and I will call you with your “scores”!

If you are looking for something fun to do tomorrow night the Festival of Lights Parade starts downtown at 6pm. The weather should be perfect and I will be there with my daughter and three grandsons.
Come join the fun!
