She said “I tried the internet dating sites and I was contacted by a couple of men who were obviously Nigerian scammers. Then I heard your radio ad where you asked “Are you tired of going in and out of relationships? Are you ready to meet the right person?” and I decided to give you a call.”
She has one child who will be in college in a couple of years and she is looking forward to having more time for her personal life. She has a demanding job and has worked for the same company for almost 20 years. She is well compensated but she does not necessarily look for a man who makes as much money as she does as long as he is financially responsible. I encouraged her to be more focused on someone who is a compatible match financially.
I said “Compatible incomes means you can make similar lifestyle choices. It is important for his income to be somewhat compatible with yours.”
She enjoys, skiing, hiking, movies, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
She said “I love being in a relationship and I love being in love. I am ready for the right man to come into my life.”

He said “I think there is something wrong with my picker because I seem to end up with ladies who are just not right for me.”

He said “I have to be attracted to her.”

He is physically active and wants to meet a lady who enjoys at least some of his activities. He enjoys biking, hiking, handball, boating, kayaking, cooking and traveling.
He said “A good travel companion is very important to me. I like someone you can go with the flow and be spontaneous when traveling as opposed to someone who has to have everything scheduled.”
He is very close to his children who are both in college and doing well.
He said “My kids are my pride and joy. I really appreciate a lady who has good kids who don’t cause a lot of drama in her life.”
His daughter encouraged him to call me, otherwise he would probably never have thought of calling a matchmaker.
He said “I liked your website and decided to see what other matchmakers were in Colorado Springs but you were the only one I could find.”
I said “To my knowledge, I am the only matchmaker with a consistent track record. They come and they go but they don’t seem to last.’
He said “I think I would have chosen you anyway.”
He is now a new client and I matched him the next day with a lady met this weekend and they are both interested in seeing each other again.
He said “I cannot believe how much we have in common.”
I said “It’s not an accident. She was hand selected just for you.”
We are off to a good start!
