My first appointment today is a lady, early 30’s, ABS, self employed, her long term goal is marriage and children. To say she is a personal trainer simplifies what she does. It is much more than personal training and she is passionate about helping people learn more about their bodies and how to properly exercise. I have not done a trade for services in at least 18 years but I am going to trade my services for hers. I am going to meet with her twice a week plus buy the equipment she recommends to be able to also work out at home a couple of days a week. I start on Monday and will keep you posted on my experience. She is extremely fit and very physically active. You MUST snowboard or ski. She also enjoys tennis, rock climbing, long boarding, hiking, camping, volleyball, roller hockey, water skiing, flag football, road trips , concerts and classical music. Ultimately she would love to be in a partnership or marriage with a man who has an interest to help children with special needs and learning disabilities. More than she wants to be married, she does not want to be divorced. She has experienced how divorce affected her family and will only consider marriage if she is absolutely sure he is the right man. She knows there is no way to be “absolutely” sure but she thinks her odds of finding the right man are much greater through Perfectly Matched where I focus on the things that matter and then add the mutual physical attraction. She has learned from her own experiences that starting with the physical attraction only takes her so far. However, physical attraction is very important to her, on a scale of “0” to “10” she said it was a “10”. I told her I think I have a good eye for picking levels of attraction and, although I don’t usually show pictures, I showed her six men and she is attracted to five of them. I am going to help her find the right man and she is going to help me get buff! That’s the plan.

My second appointment is a man, mid 60’s, almost divorced, educated, grown children and grand children, and his long term goal is marriage. He moved to Colorado to be around his family. He had everyone over for dinner recently and is very happy to be closer to his kids and grandkids. He actually beams when he talks about them. He exercises and lifts weights to stay fit. He enjoys golf, light hiking, concerts, music, and cooking. His faith is important to him, he is a strong Christian, and he would love a lady who would accompany him to church. His age preference is 55 to 65, maybe even a little older. He said “I can appreciate in this age range that gravity can take its toll and I am not looking for someone who is perfect, just someone you takes care of herself, eats right and lives a healthy lifestyle.” That is music to my ears from a man in his age range. He is very easy going and outgoing, a real likeable fellow. I look forward to not only helping him find the right lady, but also hopefully make some new friends along the way.

My third appointment is a lady, mid 40’s, divorced, has two children at home, and her long term goal is “absolutely” to be married. She is a referral from a couple who met and married through Perfectly Matched several years ago, and she sees how happy they are. Before she came in for her appointment she went to my website and read everything on there. She went back as far as a year reading Donna’s Daily Diary and she said “I learned so much about your service, what you do, the kind of people you work with, the mistakes to avoid and the right way to date. I have already made up my mind to do this.” She has three siblings, about a dozen nieces and nephews, and her Mother in Colorado Springs. She said “Someone has to understand my family is important and they are a huge part of my life. I would love to meet a man whose family is also a big part of his life.” She enjoys biking, rollerblading, movies, loves the symphony and all kinds of music, except country and western. She said “I am a curvy woman and I want a man who appreciates a womanly body and will stand in front of me and tell me I am beautiful.” I interviewed a man last week who was meeting ladies from the online services and he said “When a woman says she is curvy it usually means she is overweight.” This lady is definitely curvy in all the right places and has a beautiful face, skin and hair. It is not at all hard to imagine a man standing in front of her and telling her she is beautiful.

A quick update on my Dad in Florida…he is doing great and has been off his oxygen for as long as 10 to 12 hours. In Colorado he could not be off of it for more than 10 to 12 minutes. He saw a new doctor yesterday and it was a very positive visit. He will be taken off of some of his old medications and trying some new ones. When I called my brother last night they were all out to dinner with their church group and Johnny said “He’s sitting at the end of the table talking to some men who are about his age and he is totally engaged in conversation.” So far, so good!
