My first appointment today is a man, late 40’s, educated, ABS (always been single), his long term goal is marriage and children.
He said “In the last few years I decided I really would like to have a child. Previously I was open to the idea, but never met the right woman.”
Because of his desire to have a child, his age preference for a lady is under 35 years of age.
I said “That could be a limiting factor when it comes to matching you, but let’s complete the interview and I will know if I have matches for you.”
Long story short, I do not have matches for him. In addition to his age preference, he wants to meet a lady who has no pets, does not want pets, has no kids, has a college education, at least 5’6, very fit and trim, and very physically attractive.
I encouraged him to be flexible on some of his preferences but he said he “was not going to settle.”
He was surprised when I told him I did not have any matches for him.
He said “Surely you have at least a couple of ladies that meet my preferences.”
I said “I have to look at both sides of the match, you have to meet her preferences as well.” I went over all of his preferences again to see if he could be more flexible and he did not want to change anything.
He said “Well, hold on to my information and if you find someone you think is a good match give me a call. You said there is someone for everyone.”
Nice man, if he sounds like a match for you, give me a call..another thing I often say is “it only takes ONE right one.”
My second appointment is a “be back”, a lady I interviewed two and a half years ago. She is mid 30’s, divorced, and her long term goal is marriage.
She said “I am in a much better place to meet the right person now than I was two and a half years ago.”
She is very close to her family and appreciates a man who is established and also connected to his family.
She said “I have a great child, a wonderful family, a job I love, the only thing missing is the right man.”
She enjoys movies, dining out, music, wine tastings, photography, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
She said “I am not much of an outdoors person. Just find me a man who likes to cook and dance.”
She also mentioned how New Year’s Eve is the one night that always makes her think about wanting someone special in her life.
She said “I want to be kissed by a MAN on New Year’s Eve, not just a peck buddy or a friend, but a real kiss on New Year’s Eve.
I said “I agree, there is nothing like a REAL kiss on New Year’s Eve.”
My daughter had the baby on Thursday, Wyatt James Jackson. He joins his brothers Jake and Cash. Jake, Cash, and Wyatt…sounds like a bunch of bank robbers from the cowboy days! Mother and baby are doing well!
To be continued………..
